Hey, we are Nicolás and Andrés, the founders of Suno.
Overview
Suno pools dozens of mid-sized solar plants into one reserve and issues uWatt, a dollar denominated token. Holders get paid from the electricity those plants sell, 11.6% over the past year.
Ask: Intros to Morpho curators open to RWA collateral, and to funds or DAO treasuries deploying $1M+ into non-crypto-correlated yield. Climate mandates especially. Reach us at [email protected], or DM @nvillegase on Telegram or @suno_finance on X.
The problem
Mid-scale solar generates revenue for decades, and in emerging markets it pays double digits. It is also the hardest kind of solar to finance. Meanwhile $300 billion in stablecoins earns low yield or risky yield, and nothing in between. The projects can’t get money. The money can’t reach the projects.
Mid-size solar developers can’t get funded. 200 kW to 10 MW projects are too large for consumer credit and too small to justify institutional diligence. They are also the fastest to build, plugging into existing distribution instead of waiting years for transmission.
Stablecoin holders earn low or at high risk. Aave paid 2.6% on USDC in April 2026. Anything higher adds leverage and liquidation risk, and tokenized treasuries cap at the Fed rate.
Our solution
Suno pools mid-scale solar plants into one reserve and issues uWatt, a USD-denominated token that pays holders from the electricity those plants sell. The reserve holds 15% more than it owes, plus cash on hand for shortfalls, so one plant failing doesn’t affect holders. Issued under a Bermuda BMA license, audited by Nethermind.
Developers get funded. Suno originates, underwrites and operates plants of 200 kW to 10 MW on one standardized framework, so no project needs its own financing process.
Holders get 11.6%. That’s the average over the past 12 months, compounding hourly, paid from energy sales rather than leverage.
Earn yield from solar energy
Deposit USDC to mint uWatt and stake it in the Suno Solar Vault, where it compounds hourly from the electricity the Reserve’s plants sell.
Redeem at par instantly
Mint and redeem uWatt for USDC at par, with a liquid reserve sleeve funding instant exits and a 1.15 collateral target absorbing shortfalls first.
Verify the reserve
Every plant is valued with a public, open-source financial model. The Reserve page shows each plant’s energy production, valuation inputs, and the live collateral ratio.

Vision
Every large pool of capital eventually funds infrastructure. Pension funds found project finance, retail savers found listed infrastructure funds. Stablecoins are the newest pool, over $300 billion and growing. Clean energy in emerging economies needs to go from $270 billion a year to $870 billion by the early 2030s, and onchain dollars can reach those projects faster than any pool before them. Suno will be the largest funder of mid-scale solar in emerging markets.
Team
Nicolás Villegas (CEO) — Co-founded Solé, a solar EPC with 300+ people and $50M in annual sales, and Unergy, a licensed utility that develops plants, trades wholesale, and was the first in Colombia to sell solar directly to end customers. Nine years of building and financing plants, watching viable mid-scale projects go unbuilt for lack of capital.
Andrés Calle (CTO) — Co-founded Bits, one of Colombia’s first blockchain startups, at the intersection of tokenization and energy. Built the infrastructure that tokenized 25 operating solar plants into uWatt on Ethereum.
